The Basics of Searching

Searching BCDW is easy -
just type in a few descriptive words and hit the enter key or click on the Go
button for a list of matching products. A basic search matches items that
contain all the words in your query, so if you get too many results, simply add
another word or two. For example, if you search for handheld you may get
hundreds of hits. By searching for handheld Symbol scanner you'll get a
much more useful result.
Capitalization
Searches are not case
sensitive. All letters, regardless of how you type them, will be understood as
lower case. For example, searches for zebra printer, Zebra Printer,
or zEBRA pRINTER all return the same results.
Choosing Keywords
For the best results, it's
important to choose your keywords wisely. Keep these tips in mind:
Try the obvious first. If you're looking for a specific product, be specific:
enter the brand or manufacturer's name as well as the name of the product. For
example, typing AMBP650S instead of just APC or Battery BackUp
will give you much better results. If you don't find what
you're looking for, try broadening your search by removing keywords.
Make sure you spell names correctly. If you aren't sure how to spell a
